At Fidus we deliver all kinds of interesting goods to many parts of europe as safely and efficiently as possible.

Specialised in general distribution, Fidus can handle almost any job. We'd also be happy to assist your company should you need some extra drivers and trucks. Contact us to arrange subcontractor deals.

Types Of Jobs

Depending on the job, distance and location, we choose a vehicle in our fleet that is best suited to the task at hand.

Short distance (National):

Our short distance trips generally operate nationally from our depots, generally using either 4x2 chassis or 6x4 taglift tandems with our shorter Ekeri trailers for easy manoeuvring within cities. On occasion, heavier orders may make use of larger, more powerful vehicles.

Medium distance (International):

Medium distance jobs are usually international trips between two or three countries, they are handled mostly by vehicles with 6x2/4 midlift chassis and 6x4 taglift tandems. In Scandinavia we make use of Ekeri & Krone doubles as well as Krone B-doubles on top of our regular fleet of trailers.

Long distance (International):

Longer distance trips are those that cross several countries to reach their destination. Many of our trucks are capable of handling these longer trips however, the 6x2 taglift or 6x2/4 midlift chassis are often favoured.

In The Works

We thrive to expand where possible, as soon as possible. That's why we've got more kinds of jobs in the plans for the near future.

Special Transport:

Often oversize loads requiring an escort, our fleet is currently being expanded to be more than capable of handling such jobs. The vehicles for these jobs will have all the features you need to ensure safe transport of any oversized load including flashing amber lights covering all sides of the vehicle, caution signs and a highly visible livery.

Heavy Transport:

For those heavy loads requiring more power to get them where they need to go we have several 8x4 chassis on order. Just like the special transports, the vehicles for these jobs will have all the features you need to handle the extra heavy jobs safely including flashing amber lights covering all sides of the vehicle, caution signs, a highly visible livery and an appropriately sized engine to handle the extra weight.
